, . Alexey Logunov was born in the village of Cheremukhovo in the Tula region, near the Kulikovo Field. Like many of his peers - teenagers of the post-war years - he joined his native collective farm to begin his first working path. After graduating from school with a profession of a bricklayer, his work biography began on city and rural construction sites. He then worked for newspapers and television. These were the years that became the basis of his creative inspiration. In Aleksey Logunov's works there are poems, stories, and now novels. But prose has taken over his poems, you read it and you can sense the poet in it. You see in this prose pictures of the native nature with impatient streams and rivers, with the forests and woods that have quieted down after the military thunderstorms over the land of Tula, with winding gullies, and endless fields stretching up to the horizon... And in the center of this grand picture of central Russia stands a hard-working man, a homeowner, a defender of this land. The Kulikovo Field, the people living on it, is the main theme of A.
